Cathedral, San Isidoro and Casa Botines
The Cathedral of Santa María de Regla is one of the city's most representative monuments. The Basilica of San Isidoro houses the pantheon of the kings of León and, in 1188, hosted the Cortes convened by Alfonso IX, described as the first Cortes in the history of Europe. The Casa Botines is among the buildings declared a site of cultural interest and is attributed to Antonio Gaudí.
